La Herradura can help with a special Spanish course for foreigners living in Montevideo who want to learn the necessary vocabulary to understand the application process and be able to apply for the Uruguayan Residency or citizenship and passport more or less independently.

We'd like to help you by teaching the basic vocabulary that is necessary to simplify the whole process of application.

The application for the Uruguayan residency, citizenship and passport is a lengthy and complicated process, especially when you don't speak any Spanish, since the applicant has to appear in person.

In general, every foreigner has the opportunity to get the Uruguayan residency and/or nationality as long as they fulfill all the requirements and submit all the necessary documents to the Ministry of the Interior.
