Course Structure:
Grammar (2 Hours Daily):
Each day, two hours are dedicated to grammar. You'll receive clear explanations with both spoken and written examples. The focus during these sessions is on understanding the rules of the language and ensuring accuracy in your usage.
Conversation (2 Hours Daily):
The other two hours focus on conversation. These sessions involve discussions led by the teacher, tailored to your level and interests. The emphasis is on self-expression and fluency. While the focus is on speaking, the teacher will also correct errors and clarify grammar points as needed.
This balanced approach helps you build a strong foundation in Spanish while gaining the confidence to speak and express yourself freely.

5 Days a Week / 5 to 6 Hours per Day
This course is ideal for those who want to dedicate more time to their Spanish studies and make rapid progress in a short period.
Course Structure:
Group Classes (Part of Course A):
Students will participate in the group classes outlined in the Intensive Course, which cover grammar and conversation.
Additional Classes:
In addition to the group classes, students will have an extra session each day focused on other areas of grammar and vocabulary. These additional classes often take place in a smaller group or one-on-one. If it's a one-on-one session, it will be one extra hour instead of two. This personalized approach allows teachers to tailor the program more specifically to the student’s needs, abilities, and interests.
This course offers an accelerated learning experience, helping you advance your Spanish skills quickly and efficiently.

Group Lessons (10 Hours per Week):
Participate in two group lessons per week, where you'll cover both grammar and conversation. These sessions are designed to help you build a strong foundation while enjoying the learning experience with peers.
Private Lesson (5 Hours per Week):
Additionally, you’ll have one one-on-one lesson each week, tailored specifically to your needs and interests. This personalized session allows for focused attention on areas where you want to improve.
Cultural Activities (2 Weekly):
As part of the course, you’ll also participate in two weekly cultural activities. Led by one of our teachers or staff members, these outings may include visits to local monuments, museums, markets, or exhibitions, based on your interests. These activities offer a wonderful opportunity to practice your Spanish in real-life settings while experiencing the rich culture of Uruguay.

What can I expect to learn?

The areas of grammar studied will depend on the length of your stay and on the previous knowledge of the students in the group, but here are some of the grammar topics you can expect to cover at each level:
Elementary: Regular and irregular verbs in the present tense, the use of ser and estar, reflexive pronouns, the present continuous tense, comparatives and superlatives, forming questions.
Intermediate: Regular and irregular verbs in the past tense, the perfect tenses, reflexive verbs, direct and indirect object pronouns, reported speech (statements), the use of por, para and other prepositions.
Advanced: Contrasting the past tenses, the present and past subjunctive, the future tense to express possibility, the conditional tense, and reported speech (requests and commands).
Conversation classes allow students to develop their speaking skills, listening skills, fluency and vocabulary through guided discussions of topics appropriate to the level of the group. The teachers may provide material, such as a picture, short text or questionnaire, to prompt the conversation. Topics may include personal information, likes and dislikes, past experiences, giving your opinion, asking for advice, the differences between Uruguay and your home country, current affairs, travel and culture. Conversation classes tend to be informal, fun classes – conversation can also be outside in the garden or terrace or an outdoor activity to practice the Spanish with the locals.
